One of our satellite offices was kind enough to host K.Lo for an overnight retreat this weekend, and I am pleased to say that all parties benefitted from the excursion. K.Lo was treated to an afternoon of shopping at the mall and only faced one minor battle with the merry-go-round, which apparently enticed our employee until it started to move. At this point, K.Lo did initiate an uprising and convinced the carousel operator to stop.

Meanwhile, across town, the rest of our staff lunched at a local sandwich shop, where all the food mysteriously seemed ten times tastier than usual. Later, the CEO watched football with our youngest employee, while The Manager escaped for a few drinks at a colleague's birthday celebration. The night shift unfolded just as peacefully, as N.Lo woke only once, and The Manager and CEO barely woke at all.

K.Lo ate well, slept well, and fully charmed her hosts, to whom we are most grateful. We all look forward to future retreats!

Excellent!! Glad you are able to share resources with other offices. It really helps refresh everyone and increase productivity all around. And sounds like a magical solution to the night time scheduling troubles? Was this a first overnight retreat for K.Lo?
