Attention all employees,

Please be advised that in general, The Manager is happy to field employee requests for assistance. It is, after all, her job.

But here is protocol: During the Day Shift, The Manager prefers employee requests for assistance to occur consecutively, or one after the other, rather than simultaneously. Simultaneous requests for assistance are permissable, but know that they will very quickly drive The Manager batty.

During Break Time, however, protocol changes. Consecutive requests for assistance that delay naps are not preferrable, nor are they really acceptable. And they definitely drive The Manager batty. Simultaneous requests for assistance during Break Time are not much better, and in fact, they may be worse. So really, if you could just go ahead and settle down during Break Time, perhaps fend for yourself, unless you really need something? That would be great, thanks.

Sincerely,
The Manager
