Following Afternoon Break, it is wise for Managers to refrain from the following offenses:
- Talking to the employee.
- Looking at the employee.
- Daring to suggest a reasonable or fun Post-Break activity.
- Smiling, laughing, or generally having a good time with the employee’s coworker.
- Attempting to tame the employee’s hair.
Ironically, I think most of my co-workers are best DURING the actual break, when they are silent and drooling on their cots.
I wish we had cots. I sort of yearn for cots.
