Over the long weekend, our company hosted another small start-up company out of Georgia. It was our first time meeting in person, and overall the convention was a big success. Our employees attended multiple workshops and luncheons together, bonding over group projects such as Dress-Up, Bath Time, Race Cars, Training Videos, and Checking out the New Swing Set. One employee, K.Lo, was sadly out of commission for most of the convention, but managed to participate wherever possible, in spite of a persistent fever and mild delusions. The Manager has noted, for future reference, that it’s not wise to suggest “kicking a soccer ball” to a delusional, ranting employee, lest that employee go on about how she “doesn’t want to kick the soccer ball” for a good twenty minutes. At least.

In spite of some *moments* such as this one, we all had a great time, and very much look forward to the next convention!
