Except this: potting soil removal from children and their hair is not the same as plain old dirt removal.

Also: If they are quiet with the occasional giggle for more than say, 2 minutes, you better check. I checked in about 5. Too late.

And: It was actually very cute, dirt removal and all—until the stuff really would not come out. Then, the situation got a little ugly. It will be talked about in future therapy sessions, I am quite sure.

Oh man, I can only imagine. My little guy likes to throw the wood chips from the playground up in the air, and the remnants of THOSE in his hair are hard to remove. How did you pull it off? Detachable shower head? Not that anyone in this house tolerates THAT...

  1. Very cute in spite of the dirt says:

    oh dear.
Keep the used mortor oil and paint locked up.

    Shucks.

The pictures make it look like nothing but fun, though I'm sure if there were clean-up photos, they would tell a much different story. :)

  1. Megan says:

Was the garden hose involved? Because I'm pretty sure it would have been at my casa! :)

  1. pen says:

The garden hose was most certainly involved, yes. And the kitchen sink sprayer... and finally the bath tub. A horrific 3-part process. :)
