Out of the Office
As a Manager, it is always important to take a break--whenever and however possible--from the job. Today, I dropped off our employees at the Regional Manager's office and headed out to attend to non-company business for the next 24 hours or so. Time off for a Manager is rare and at times difficult to orchestrate, but it is vital to one's business. Ultimately, both managerial and employee performance will improve as a result of these breaks. And that's a promise.
I had all day yesterday and all day today, which is very rare.
