I should explain that the Barbie Jeep was another lucky, lucky donation to our company, from a neighbor of my parents whose granddaughters had outgrown it. So, free! We love free. And it is a really cool toy to have around. K.Lo has gotten the hang of zipping around the yard—not so much with the steering, but she has the gas pedal action down, making for a mostly smooth ride. N.Lo’s whiplash incidence levels have decreased dramatically since the first drive.
Also, I should clarify that the Jeep will not be living in the house. It is here temporarily, until a) it stops raining and b) we clear out some room in the shed. Until then, however, it makes a great set-up for a drive-in movie theater.
