On any given day, K.Lo will sing a variety of songs while working in the office. She gets a lot of them at the Outsourcer, some of which I don’t even recognize. Others are cobbled-together arrangements borrowing from two or more songs, with a dash of her own imagination. Following are some of my personal favorites:

Rain, rain, go away, come again tomorrow. He bumped his head and went to bed tomorrow. Rain, rain, go away.

Good morning, good morning to you. We’re all in our places with sunshiney faces… There are seven days in a week. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Wednesday, Monday, Saturday…

Have you seen the Mulberry Bush, the Mulberry Bush, the Mulberry Bush...

This is the way we wash our clothes, wash our clothes, wash our clothes. This is the way we wash our clothes because… someone got poop on it.

The last is no lie.

There is also a song about a tricycle, of which I haven’t yet figured out the origins. It sounds a little like a story, which a tricycle is assigned to each person in the room, i.e. “I have a tricycle for…Daddy/Mommy/N.Lo, etc.” Cute.

And, try as I might to get a picture of N.Lo singing the doo-doo-doo song with his “baby,” this is all I’ve captured so far. Will keep trying.

...because someone got poop on it? For real?! Ha ha ha ha ha! That's awesome. :)

True story. You can see the wheels turning as she is singing... and it was a logical ending, right? :)

She just might not have fallen far from the apple tree with her gift for putting words together. I can hardly wait until you write about her telling stories and then writing stories. There will be gems for sure. N is practicing looking cool for the camera, like he will someday be dodging the poparazzi.

I still have issues with lyrics, but I love hearing the ones kids make up! excellent.
